![]() If you need to manipulate, add or delete database fields, tables or other db objects, you also need a reference to Microsoft ADO Ext. x (ADO), and Microsoft Jet and Replication Objects 2. If you use ADO and you want to compact and repair your database (the right way), you need two references Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2. If you use DAO, you only need a single reference to handle all you database operations. I have seen this enough that I am starting to understand why people do this. ![]() This is NOT GOOD! -) As far as I am concerned, the cardinal rule is to never mix DAO and ADO in the same project! EVER!
